Radio Controlled model towboat.

A scratch-built model I built for my grandson. I chose the Alice because there are a ton of pictures on the net. There are three sister ships that are virtually identical. (Ingram Barge lines ) They each have 3, twelve hundred horsepower diesel engines for 36 hundred pushing horsepower total per boat.
I used pine 1 x's to box in the hull and shaped it with a bandsaw and rasps. I covered it with glass cloth and boat resin. The upper structure lifts off to service the motors etc. It is powered with 2 Duma 12 V motors and 2 -12 V drill batteries. I will post more pics of the innards when I find them.
