two 1X12 x 7' long boards: #1 grade redwood or cedar or lower cost #2 grade lumber



Hardware required for assembly:

#8 x 1 1/2" long, flat head, galvanized screws, 1 1/2" long, finish nails

two 1/4" I.D. eyescrews for hanging



Tools:

table saw or circular saw, band saw or hand held sabre saw with a smooth cutting, non-chipping blade

drill and 3/16", 1/4" and 1 1/2" drill bits

carving tools or rotary cutter



Supplies:

transfer paper, pencil & clear tape

sand paper-medium & fine grits

wood filler-non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws

exterior wood glue



Sealer:
high-grade, non-yellowing, semi-gloss UV protected project sealer (#POLYQT) for outdoor protection.
